Fashion Show
The Van Mildert Charity Fashion Show is one of the largest charity events in the College’s calendar. Held in mid February and attended by over 300 members of college and wider member of the university community, the show is organised and executed by a full student committee.
The Charity Fashion Show brings the college community together like no other event, due to the high number of students and staff involved. Not only is it attended by a large majority of the college community, but besides the organising committee, all models, dancers, perfomers, backstage helpers, sound and lighting technicians are also students of Van Mildert College.
Van Mildert College prides itself as having one of the best Fashion Shows at Durham University. We strive for very high standard in the quality of our the show, whereas no auditions are held for modeling because we believe everyone should be able to be a part of the event, all other performers, such as dancers, musicians, singers are auditioned. Last year's fashion show was a big success and we are looking forward to make this year's show even better.
